I took a trip to see Portobello Road and the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain in Hyde Park.

You might recognize this storefront from the movie Notting Hill as the bookstore of the character played by Hugh Grant. It is The Travel Bookshop - 13 Blenheim Crescent, Notting Hill.

Near Kensington Palace there are some embassies such as this one, the Royal Norwegian Embassy

Here is Kensington Palace which was the official residence of Princess Diana from 1981 until her death in 1996

In Hyde Park is the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain. It opened in 2004 and the fountain is a giant oval of granite and the two sides were intended to show the happy times and turmoil of her life.

Here is the Royal Albert Hall where the PROMS are held. The event is held over eight weeks in a series of 70 classical music concerts in the hall.

The Prince Albert Memorial was comissioned by Queen Victoria in memory of her husband, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha who died of typhoid in 1861.
