Journey above the roof of St. John's Church

I've always wondered what is above the roof of St. John's Church at Creighton. I've gone part-way up the bell tower but never gotten the courage up to walk on the stairs that don't have any support from underneath. This was probably a good thing, but then I talked two other people into going up there to see what it might look like, here are the photos:
