On Sunday, July 20th Lake Park Lutheran Church in Milwaukee held it's annual Worship and Cookout in Lake Park. Since Daniel and I were on the planning committee we'd been preparing for a while and it was satisfying to see that the paper lanterns ordered actually had a use! The turnout was good and everybody had a great time participating in worship in the beautiful outdoor setting, enjoying good food, an auction of Last Supper kitch, and a balloon toss/fight.
